Muscle. Muscle tissue is more metabolically active & burns calories at rest, increasing the bmr. Gaining 20lbs of fat wouldn't increase BMR by as much, so my caloric maintenance intake would be higher with 20lbs more muscle. Allowing me to be able to eat more food. And My TDEE would be higher as well due to having enough muscle to move around effortlessly. that would be even higher than the fat version of me's TDEE, allowing me to eat even more food.
Since I'm breastfeeding I'd want the 20lbs of fat because it's more helpful for milk production. I'm sure most people will pick muscle tho because there aren't many other reasons to pick wanting more fat over muscle
Would I rather look good or bad. Hmm. I wonder. I have a question for you too, would you rather break your legs in half slowly with a crow bar? Or go on a weeks long paid vacation? See now we both asked a stupid question
