I am old fashioned school and I don't think that I would want to be with a friend that crossdresses. I would feel uncomfortable to be in the presence of a man that does not feel comfortable being who he is as a human being and needs to change his appearance.

Having such a person as an acquaintance is fine though. I just would not want to be seen in public with him. I would feel totally out of place in public. I would not mind talking to him in private though.
