Eh book series are not my thing mostly. Typically they just become bad, such as Cherub really good series about kids becoming spies rather than putting them up for adoption the first couple of books are great, Class A the 2nd book is just one of the best books. But the later books after the 5th maybe it became really boring and dumb.
The Saga of Darren Shan a Vampire series that starts off pretty good but I stopped reading when one the books somehow lead into them now having to live in tunnels because of a zombie outbreak... then in the tunnels they had to fight goblins or something. But hey one of the books before that was just about the main guy stalking this girl he likes trying to not give into his urges, and he's in this city because another vampire has gone rogue killing people. That was really good.
The Gone book series seems pretty good but I won't lie I haven't read much.
Game of Thrones yeah that's just overall good can be slow though. And dance with dragons is the best one to say it's the most recent. We still be waiting on the next book.
Then of course Goosebumps have always been great, along with fnaf books.
Now if your speaking Manga yeah that's another really long list but Tokyo Ghoul like I said on the anime one is just needed.
"The Foundation Trilogy" although it was expanded 30+ years later in the 1980s.
This is the exact copy that I have and read. It was the first adult fiction book that I ever read that I was not required to read because of school.
I have to say Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. The Dune series is also quite high for me because I reread them like 3 times since dune one's first trailer was released.
Dune is mentioned tons, ill mostly give that one a try first ☺️
High recommendation from me. Read the first book and see if you like it. I just can't recommend reading only the first two. One is a good standalone. 1-3 works well and 1-6 as well. Two sets up more than it ends and until 6 is the main BIG. Overarching story.
So no problem reading only part one. If you really want to get into dune the first 6 is the super big pay off. The first 3 do have a complete story and a good ending as well.
my favorite is Ken Follett novels
my guilty pleasure book series is Pretty Little Liars because i wasn't allowed to read them when they came out 🤷♀️

i dont usually read book series, just individual books mostly
but ig one i liked was the bone comic book series, although the way i read it, it sure didn't seem like it was a series (i bought it as one massive book, its like 4 or 5 inches thick lol)
i also like the ¨unsolved¨ books, they basically all are ¨unsolved _______¨ (crimes, murders, enigmas, conspiracies, etc) they are quite interesting in my opinion
percy jackson was pretty good too.
As a kid I remember liking Micheal Moorcock's Corum books, technically there were two trilogies. If I was to read them again as an adult I'd probably be underwhelmed. As an adult I've enjoyed William Gibson's Sprawl trilogy, starting with Neuromancer.
Frank Herbert's Dune series
Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game series (Ender saga)
and... many more...
LOTR?
@Still-alive read it a few times and enjoyed it but wouldn't say it's my favorite. It's not challenging enough for me
ohh like a challenge? how about gravity's rainbow? lol good luck
@Still-alive prefer hard SF
I haven't finished both yet but The Ice Planet Barbarians series and Divergent series. I have a few book series on my booklist that I want to get.
"Like the number Four? What? Were 1-3 taken?"
@dustybiker2 hee hee
A lot actually
but Raymond E Fiest Magician and Riftwar serious
David Eddings Books including Mallorean
load of others, mainly fantasy,
I mostly read reference books and science literature, which aren't usually in a series.
Whenever I find a book/comic/manga series I would like, I usually just watch the movies/tv shows instead because I really like good visuals in stories.
I guess I don’t follow any series but I do follow certain authors. HP was a good series though!
Jules Verne (20.000 Leagues under the sea)
Karl May (Old Shatterhand/Winnetou)
J. R. R. Tolkien (Lord of the Rings)
I'd go for the Holy Bible, with the Book of Revelations being my favourite in the series.
Other than that... The Chronicles of Narnia or the Log Horizon Light Novel.
I have a fav book. Its called The shame machine, it talks about shame all threw out society
i Love "Crazy Rich Asians" by Kevin Kwan

HP was cute too.
The Scholomance trilogy by Naomi Novik. It is a little like Harry Potter but dark and cynical.
Lord of the rings, i read all of the chronicles of narnia books and the goosebumps series too.
I like history books, such as 'The Art of War' etc
