  No it can't, I've given up on life. Alcohol makes it easier to cope with my hopelessness and inability to do anything right. That's more than I can say about anything else.
  
  I haven't felt joy for one second in the past 7 years, and it's very clear that I'll never experience joy again, no matter what I do.
