I like to regularly read, though probably not as often as I should.

I find time to read at one of the break times at work.

Also before I go shopping, I call at a coffee shop, like Starbucks and I dedicate a hour or so reading, while having a treat.

I hate waiting for work people to arrive to do jobs at home, and to overcome this, I like to sit by a bright window, with the radio on, a drink by my side, and read until they arrive.

I do and have done all those things. Yes, sometimes you need to set some time apart. The only thing that is different for me is turning on the radio. I'm a reader who gets absorbed by a book and the story that is being told. Listening to music while reading just clashes in my mind.

The music is just in the background for me, I'm not really listening to the radio, unless a song I particularly like is played.
Also it creates an atmosphere when the work people arrive, and I'm not listening to their conversations in a stony silence.
