Yes, I had listened to their music many times in the past when my daughters were growing up as teens. I do have a few favorites, such as "Holiday", "Blvd of Broken Dreams", and "Time of Your Life". At my oldest's sweet sixteen party, lots of their songs were played, and I actually danced to "Holiday". Haha, good memories.

They were/are a pop band. Nothing punk about them.

If you want to listen to real punk, listen to Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Discharge, GBH, Exploited to name just a few.

Cliched due to overuse at high school break ups, but 'Good Riddance' is their immortal song for me. They nearly didn't record it at all... a slow ballad wasn't really their style.
