I am going to a beach/swimming arra that is real popular at the lake i live around. I coincidentally mentioned it earlier in a different question.

It is super cool. It used to be a rock quarry back in the day. They brought in nice soft sand and made a beach area and huge swimming area away from the main arm of the lake.

There is even a rock barrier so the crazy boaters can't anchor close to the beach and swimming spots. It is super popular.
