Is it true people are not getting married and having children anymore? What do you think about this?

It happens pretty predictably once a culture reaches a certain economic point. As of... I think it was 2017, but I'm not sure, the only first world countries whose populations weren't falling were the US and New Zealand, and those only because of immigration. The total *human* population, of course, is still rising, and has been pretty consistently for the past fifty thousand years.

If you want to see how poorly people understand statistics, though, just look at all the fear over Covid, a disease less lethal than chicken pox. There will always be nonsensical fear.
