Your reason makes fundamental sense and is accurate in most of the cases. Cultural or worldview differences are difficult enough to reconcile within one's own race. There is a large fundamental worldview divide between traditional Conservative and a traditional liberal. Add different race with different experience into the politics, religion, money mix then there is likely a pending volcano explosion in the wings.
