Should I accept the ring?

My mum offered me my dead grandma’s wedding ring as my wedding ring for when I marry my fiancé. We can’t afford things like that. Should I accept it? It’s beautiful and it’s so my style.

Yes it seems to be a family tradition and it seems to be getting passed down the fam, your grandmother's, then your mother's and now to you, it's only right for in the future you give it to your daughter

... why do people ask these things when clearly you want the ring... you're old enough to make your own decision i just don't understand... maybe you should rethink getting married at all...
