Honesty, Moroccans are the same yet so diverse.

It depends on class, religious level, family dynamics, education level. Whether they have traveled. What city they are from.

They have high levels of narcissism and some borderline and schizoid tendencies. Also, the difficulty to earn money and their obsession with linking the masculinity to being able to provide food and shelter makes them emotionally unstable. Emotional support and all of the actualization on the Maslow pyramid is irrelevant. Difficult for a Westerner.

I hate to say this but a lot of them cheat. Also, due to inherintance laws, a lot of wives would rather their man cheat than have to share heritage with a second wife.

Also, a lot of Moroccan men love drama worse than some women. They also like to manipulate their women and make them go crazy with jealousy to see that they love them.

They have a bad tendency of only being able to idealize and devalue. They have wandering eyes most of them. Both the men and women like to rest their attractiveness constantly for games and ego boost. Many a marriage has fallen apart due to these games.

But divorce is very low and that means a whole lot of people who shouldn't be together that are. The upside is that there is more help and pressure to work things out. Or meddling.

A decent and loyal, religious (you don't want one who isn't TRUST ME) Moroccan man is funny affectionate, capable and will go to the ends of the earth for you. You have to "kiss" A lot of frogs.

But his family. They are a package deal. And they will push your buttons. So set clear boundaries even if it means a war in the beginning so they know not to mess with you.

If you can't deal with manipulations, mind games drama and family politics a Moroccan isn't for you.

One thing it isn't is boring. Definitely not boring.

Honestly?

No, I would not for 2 major reasons.

1. I am not interested in dating and even less in getting married, regardless of the nationality.

2. I am quite familiar with the North African mentality (Tunisian, Algerian or Moroccan) and from what I see, women tend to have to be submissive to their spouses. Also, I am a little reticent about the entire religious aspect and the importance this topic takes in the lives of men.

I have not made any personal negative experiences with North African/Maghreb people but for me, the risk is too high that the relationship does not go as smooth as expected.

Yeah, why not? Doesn't matter where he is from as long as he is a decent guy. It is more about him as a person than ethnicity or what country he comes from. Not sure I have ever had the pleasure of meeting a guy from Morocco. Probably wouldn't have known if I did.
