A question for the married folk?

How did you know the person you chose was the one? I mean how could you be sure? Did you ever have any doubts?

When my husband @BoobSlayer and his giant monster dick came into view, all fear vanished from me. It’s like something clicked inside of him that told us we were meant to fuck each other until the end times arrived or whatever it is people do with sex on a more normal day than today anyway? We both knew deep down in our hearts (or loins as I prefer) this was love, and not just some random shag.

I had been in long-term relationships before and I wanted kids eventually. I had not felt ready earlier and I had lost at least one woman because of that. So when I hit 30, I thought my then girlfriend was good to start a family with and she thought the same. Marriage provides a time-tested contractual basis for such plans.

After marriage we stayed together 16 years making it 20 years in total for the relationship. We have two wonderful teenage kids, but we each have different partners now.

We met at a place we both had been going to all our lives and yet we never met before. After we hung out for a while we found out we had so many things in common that it was sort of eerie. We had a picnic and she said that there was something to tell me. She was engaged to some guy she met in school and lived on the other side of the country. She recently broke up with him. I told her that I was going to marry a girl I met at school that lived halfway across the country and we recently broke up/

For me it was like a movie where everything sort of faded away and slowed down to where all I could see was her. I knew then that I had to talk to her and hopefully she would say yes. I asked her if I could write about her and she said yes, so I wrote her a poem. The rest was a series of bad dates that I wouldn't trade for the world and eventually, when we could, we got married officially.
