Have never heard of renewing vows. Does it have an expiration date or why would it have to be renewed?

Ill answer ya. The word ‘renew’ is a bit of a misnomer its more like you’re restating your vows in a little ceremony. My parents did this for their 45th anniversary on a maui beach in Hawaii in 2016. It can be a good thing for your marriage in the long term i would say.

You're done with what? Couples been renewing vows since forever is not a new thing. My grandparents were married for 50+ years and they renewed their vows twice.

We haven't done it, but my husband is still talking me out on romantic dates just like he did 8 years ago, so I don't think we are at the renewing the vows stage just yet.

It is for some. My parents been married for more than 30 years and never renewed their vows.
