Not at all. It is one of the most beautiful sites in Paris - I know, I've been there - and in my experience on this site, I can think of few people who more deserve to have their romantic dreams realized.

Here's to hoping you get that happy day and a long life of love and companionship ever after.

(By the way, sorry I have not been on the site lately as you have asked some great questions. It is just that I have been busy with both work and family in the run-up to our Thanksgiving holiday. Hopefully, things will get back to normal after this week.

That said, this was just one of your postings that I had to answer. You are sweet, sincere, polite and charming and I wanted to tell you that I hope, as I say, that you get that dream proposal some day. Any guy - French or other - would be lucky to have you.)

I don't think outdated is the problem. But it is definitely overdone and not as romantic as it seems. But then again maybe it's because I've seen it happen so many times now.

I'll be honest, it sounds so cliché. I heard it's more of a tourist thing and that most French people HATE that place😂 I don't know if I'd wanna be proposed to in front of hoards of restless tourists. But if you think that's romantic, then I hope it happens for you. It's not unrealistic, considering you live in France.

Nah, its a bit cliche, but I guess it's still pretty romantic.. It's a beau setting and if you love the Eiffle Tower is a structure, then it won't matter because it'll still be special to you... Now I'm gonna go do some pushups and shadow box and listen to David Goggins to get manly again... JK..

You know, it's a long line to get to go up into the Eiffel Tower. I say do it on one of the dinner cruise boats on the evening of Bastille Day as the Eiffel Tower is lit up and fireworks abound.
