Lover surprise! Ever greatly surprised your so with how good you are with Thier friends?

My wife is a dentist and always surprised when I get along with her coworkers. Often I'll mention a term she uses or has often told me about and her friends love it and me. She is just left shocked for a few minutes.

After a few years why is she still surprised?

Honestly I'm surprised with how less shy she is with them then out shopping.

I'm not super surprised your wife is still thrown off sometimes though. As dentists, y'all live in a whole different world than most folks when it comes to teeth haha. Plus things can get pretty intense in the workplace.

So when you seamlessly slip into convos using all that lingo, it's probly wild to see that side of you in that context. And it shows you really listen and care, which is awesome. Makes her look good too to have a hubby so down with her world.

Maybe over time she'll get more used to you fitting in so well. Or it could always catch her off guard in the best way, nice little reminder of how much you support each other. Either way man, keep doing your thing - it's dope you guys have that connection down pat.

I bet it cracks her up too seeing how comfortable you are chatting with her coworkers when she thought you'd just be your usual shy self. Probs makes her proud knowing you fit in so well with her people.

Def keep up the little surprises - it'll keep things exciting! Like you said, it's been years and she's still not used to how cool you are with her friends. That's gold right there.

Who knows, maybe next time try throwing in a dentistry joke or two just to really throw her for a loop. Or just casually diagnose someone's filling issue out of nowhere, ha!

My ex was the same. Never thought I'd get along with his buddies and he hated it when I did.

Just insecure but your wife probably always worried about being judged for you or is at work.
