What if the whole wedding, honeymoon flight and even your clothes was free, would it make you feel better as a man?

My parents and I paid for the courthouse costs, flight tickets for our honeymoon, reception party, wedding bands and even my husband's marriage clothes and shoes. He felt greatly appreciated. It was non-religious.

If the woman and her parents did the same thing we did, would it make you feel better as a man. Would it ease your concerns about marriage being expensive (and worrying about the financial risks, her after your money) if you didn't have to pay anything, if the whole wedding was free?

He does have to share expenses for our upcoming child. I'm now pregnant. Obviously that's not free but I believe I've made it a lot easier for him.
