My only concern is that they might be frustrated when I can't personally relate to struggles of their culture. Like if they face discrimination and I can't personally relate because I'm not from that culture. Or if I don't know about food or music from that culture and it pisses them off that I don't know.

But if they don't mind, I don't mind either.

Apart from this - I already live with a partner lady from a ''different culture'' since years.

It only works when one is willing to compromise and to improvise.

There has to be (country) cultural understanding otherwise the shock wave may hit me, her and us pretty hard, sooner or later. I would even say that understanding shall encompass our subcultures, it will feel better this way !

Not really. I would not rule it out but marriage is difficult enough as it is. I would not like to have a culture difference to deal with.
