I feel the need to create this question because I made the mistake of defending my wife's choice to be a home maker and housewife on a woman's forum.. And now not only am I getting hate from that, people are messaging her demanding she divorce me.. My wife finds it funny, and just blocks them, but I really feel the need to ask, is it really the same as slavery?

I've never, not once ordered her around, never told her what she can and cannot do, never controlled anything she does, and her choose to be a housewife was hers alone. So why do these women say it's slavery?

I have been looking for a future wife who will have our children and stay home to take care of them. I also want a wife who will notice when public schooling isn't educating our children properly and homeschool them if the need did arise. Is this unreasonable?

If there was an infallible perfect system to match someone with their ideal spouse would you go for it? If you're in a relationship or married answer the way you would've before you met/got with your partner

I know what my vote is, people in a successful marriage would have the best advice. It's plain stupid to listen to someone who has been divorced, and even more so if said person has had multiple divorces. And single people who can't get a significant other are just as bad.

Reason being the last two are miserable, and they want everyone else to be miserable.

I just got married, and I have never worn rings before. Now that I wear my wedding band, it is taking some time getting used to it. I keep getting worried it will get stuck or an accident will happen and it will crush my finger
