Is it normal for newlyweds to be in a sexless marriage?

We married in September of this year. We maybe have sex on average once a month. Not exaggerating.

I am growing concerned and somewhat frustrated. It isn't like I ask for it all day every day or even weekly for that matter. The lack of intimacy is worrisome.

Not newlyweds, I would have the marriage annulled if that were the case. I've had sex with married guys before and it's always the same story, after the babies and the wife stops having sex and the husband doesn't know what to do. He doesn't want to leave her but he doesn't want to live the rest of his life without sex. I truly don't know why she can't blow her husband a few times a week or at least a handjob.
