AITA for excluding my husband from my pregnancy scan?

I got married a year ago and we had several issues in the first 6 months of our marriage especially because of my toxic in-laws. My in-laws came to my house and threatened me, started swearing and made me visibly shaken. For the past several months, my husband seemingly improved and started standing up for me. We then tried to conceive and fell pregnant shortly after. However, things with my in-laws escalated and they consistently started disrespecting me. My MIL complained about me to the point where I felt I couldn’t even breathe without them accusing me of something. My husband comes home crying if I "upset" his mum, but even if they clearly verbally harass me, he shows no remorse.

I told my husband about this and he called me a "cr*zy b*tch", we got into an argument and he threatened to punch my pregnant belly tho he knew I was 6 weeks pregnant (something he's never done before).

I froze and the next day told him that I don't feel comfortable with him attending the first prgenancy scan. He says I'm being unreasonable as that's his child and that I have no right to do this to him.

There's two mistakes, the 1st is threatning to punch your belly and the 2nd not allowing him to come to the 1st scan, your relationship is toxic, both of you can't continue your marital path if there's no solution to such problems!

Nothing you said about him is positive. Threatening you, even when you aren't pregnant, is extremely worrisome. Doing that while pregnant is the biggest and most red of flags.

You are not being unreasonable but it is also his kid. Unless things can be patched up with ur in-laws and husband it might be time to move on?

You got pregnant by a weak man. You knew he was weak when he didn't stand up for you. Stupid choices have negative consequences.

Not sure why you'd think it's me. We've been counselling twice and on both times, the counsellors said I was doing nothing wrong. My husband stopped attending counselling sessions as the counsellor started getting very annoyed at his behaviour
