It would depend on a lot of factors. For example, if we were in a serious relationship and have talked about long-term relationship and probably marriage, of course I'd marry her before she passes away.

Depends on their reason for getting married, but in most cases, yes. I would say no if getting married meant that their large debts and baggage became my responsibility after their death.

If I was already in a relationship with him I would still marry him but I wouldn't start a relationship with someone knowing they could die in a matter of months.

I can’t imagine being in that situation never have been in one. I would hope so… if someone meant that much to me. I pray to God I would. At the same time I pray that doesn’t happen to someone I love so much.

I have nothing but respect for people who do…. I can’t imagine. For either person it must be extremely hard.

But not out of pity , out of choice.

Committing to someone who doesn’t have much time left forces you to see love for what it truly is presence, loyalty, and the willingness to show up when it matters most.

Some people run from that kind of reality.

Others lean in because they value depth more than duration.

You don’t marry them for a lifetime,
you marry them for the meaning, the honesty, the connection that’s already there.

Time doesn’t decide if it’s worth it.

The quality of the bond does.
