Do girls not like getting random gifts or small presents that show you are a nice guy?

I'm curious as to what girls think of when a guy gets her small gifts or just does random nice things. Like this girl I'm dating recently, she's really busy so I downloaded one of the movies she's really wanted to see and gave it to her. I sent her flowers just randomly cause its nice. Some other things I thought about is bringing her her favorite Starbucks drink when I pick her up to do something.

Is too many of these acts/gifts a bad thing? I guess I just want her to know I'm trying and that I listen to her and just try to do small things that would make her happy.

They love this, but only if they reciprocate the feelings. Before you send her too many gifts, I would wait for clues from her to see if she's interested in you too. (And this doesn't mean if she just says thank you or seems pleased when you give her the gifts because she could just be being polite. I'm talking about if she approaches you or really seems interested. Like if you ask her if she'd like to hang out, and if she actually follows up to spend time with you.)

Sending her too many gifts before you know if she likes you could be bad because she might be creeped out by it, like think you're stalking her or something.

Yea we've gone out a few times so I'm pretty sure she likes to hang out, I'm just almost sure that I like her more than she likes me tho lol

Kay then definitely, give her gifts. Just try to keep it to a certain limit. If you do it too often, she might feel like you're buying her off. Pay attention to things that spark her interest. Don't get something random just because you think its something that girls in general like. (For example, don't just get her a necklace. If you're going to get her a necklace, it should be something that makes you go, "Wow! This totally reminds me of her!") But I would stray away from anything too cliche.

ofcourse they like it. You don't have to do it too often if you're just dating. She might take advantage of the fact you are too nice and thoughtful like a doormat. So first just see how she responds, she should respond very positively and happily to gifts. If not, back up a bit

I wouldn't like it. I'd feel like he's either pushing a relationship to a more 'meaningful' aka serious level, or that he wants to buy me or my affections... It wouldn't feel nice at all. And I wouldn't accept the gift/s.

Word of advice, pay close attention to her taste. When you buy something, buy something that she knows you put thought and time into finding the perfect one. I do this with my lady often and it blows her mind away. But I will say this, if you give a gift, give it and expect NOTHING back in return. Don't ever hold it over her shoulders, use it against her or anything of that nature becaue then you just look like an overall sh*thead. A gentleman will give it simply to see a smile on her face. If you can do just that, then your all good.

WTF is wrong with all of these answers. Don't over think things, you're a guy, and over thinking is not your strength.

If you want to get a girl something, be a man and do it. Just make sure your presentation is on point and the gift isn't so expensive that it makes her feel uncertain of accepting.

Get her a gift card to her favorite place to eat lunch. Can't go wrong with food. Be cool, be simple, be you.

If she is your girlfriend then getting her small gifts is fine, but if she's not your girlfriend, then don't get her gifts. Don't give to many things, otherwise she might take advantage of that, and soon expect gifts from you all the time,but just one every now and then is fine.

If it's been awhile then go for it...but as fancy said keep it simple.

Something you need to remember is this isn't something you can simply stop doing.

There is a word for it...romance.

Ask any woman which means more...those 3 words, or the actions that prove it.

Do you have an ulterior motive in doing all of these "nice" things? If you are hoping that doing these things will give you credit, it might or might not work. Most of the time, you can only buy love if the girl is either a hooker or a gold digger. Worst case scenario, she'll put you in the friend zone. Nevertheless, I have never heard of a girl who doesn't like receiving gifts.

In general, I'd say girls love that type enough. Be sure to keep the gifts small, though. Too big a present can be a huge turn-off for some ladies. It may make you seem obsessed, or give her the impression that you like her a lot more than she likes you.
