What's your favorite type of Christmas Tree?

Christmas is coming, and we're being asked to buy now so that our gifts arrive in time for Christmas. Something about the Supply Chain.

This isn't about gifts though... it's about the tree. What kind of tree do you prefer? Do you usually have a real tree or artificial one?

My SO and I have different opinions of what the ideal tree is. She wins, of course, but I'm curious what others think.

FYI, my SO likes our green artificial tree with white lights and a mixture of mostly silver and some blue ornaments, no tinsel and hell-no garland, with a simple 5-point star at the top.

The tree lights are controllable, and sometimes I switch them to colored lights (especially when she's out), which is what I prefer. I prefer lots of colored ornaments too, but hey, the female wins.

We have an artificial tree but a few years ago we cut down a real tree one weekend and it was awesome.
