In Singapore there were only two local supermarkets, NTUC and Cold Storage. Don Don Donki was a supermarket originally from Japan.

Then are tons of them in the USA. Specifically in Florida we have a bunch of them… Some of them are Publix, Winn-Dixie (Southeastern Grocers Market Share), Wal-Mart, Target, Aldi, Trader Joes, The Fresh Market , Whole Foods, Albertsons, and Kroger along side bulk food stores like Costco, Sam's Club, and BJ's as well as smaller Dollar Store type places like Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Doller General and an endless slew of convenience stores and then there are also privately owned grocers, produce markets, bakeries, meat markets, fish markets, etc.

Stop and Shop is 2 m. away. Big Y is 5 m. away. Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods 20m. away. Asian markets like Indian/Asian 20-25 m. away. citrella 30m. away… and other farm fresh markets near by I haven’t explore…
Japanese, Korean, Eataly and other markets are 1 1/2 away…
