How do I lower my monthly credit card payment?

I noticed when I paid partial of my monthly payment before the due date the month credit card amount goes down. However, I paid it in full for June and my monthly bill went back up. I want it to go down as it currently was and I don’t know how?

By not paying just the minimum.

Also, call your bank and ask for a review of your interest rate.

Lastly, you can transfer the balance to a lower interest card and this will save you money you can put towards the card.

The most important "tip" is to always ensure you're spending less than you're carrying over. This may seem obvious, but as you're not physically dealing with cash, it's human nature to spend "to the limit" and then suffer at the end. With cash you know how much you physically have left to spend and nothing after.

Don’t use it for big payments. Keep your revolving utilization down. Usually, at least with my bank, and my experience, they have your monthly minimum payment increased because of a bigger purchase or you used it a lot. That’s what I’ve seen from my purchases.
