Get this. This 3 Piece Suit cost 2,900 in USA dollars.
Who would pay that?
Now who would remember Woolworth department store. The department store that had a restaurant inside the store
They even had a shoe repair shop in the basement

I never had a three piece suit only two piece that I bought about 20 years ago for maybe $200 in men’s store, if I bought anything in Woolworths it wouldn’t fit me now since it closed down 30 years ago here and I’m much bigger than I was then. It was a cool store though because it had everything you could want in one store, I even bought collectible pennies from there, wheaties and steel pennies, also craft stuff for hobbies, they never had much business in the restaurant since the mall was part of it
Oh you had one of the mall Woolworth's. The mall ones were kinda crappy
Yeah the Woolworth that was by itself was too far and in a shady part of town
750$ 😁. Just wrote on the dress question. Marine blue, so i have 5 suits, 17 or 18 shirts, 9 ties, 3 pair of shoes that i shine before and after i use them.

Too long ago to remember a price.
But three pieces only don't complete the composition yet. Add the strangulation device, shoes, a matching shirt and decoration such as a portable clock and similar.
What you then got: a pathetic assembly that demonstrates your submission to 'the System' and its rituals.
Would I spend anything for that kind of masquerade nowadays? - Not even a thought.
I bought a new suit to go to a wedding 4 years ago. i think i paid about 5 or 6 hundred dollars on it. I hope it is the last suit I will ever buy.
Like £100
In my restaurant days, one of the regulars had Brioni 3-pieces and they were about £5k each
I think around $700. I only use them for work when meeting clients.
I’ve never bought a suit of any kind nor dress pants, shirt, coat or tie. In fact I don’t know how to tie a tie nor will I ever learn nor will I ever wear any of that shit
What, you never bought a suit
What do you wear to wedding, funnels, graduations and other formal events
If there’s a dress code I don’t go. Otherwise I wear jeans and a button down shirt of some kind. I’m a preachers kid and was forced to dress up and pretend to be this perfect little church family. Then I joined the Navy and of course they tell you how to dress. When my term ended I swore no one would ever tell me how to dress again
Fair enough
A 1000 for completely tailor made.
Spectating out of intrest
I never bought a suit.

I've only been to one wedding and one funeral, and i wore the usual, jeans and pullover/tshirt/jacket.
Wow, that surprised me
Nothing, suits are ugly.
