Is the Temu app a scam or legit? Also is it worth it?

From what I've been hearing, it's not exactly a scam but it's not really worth wasting your money on it. Sometimes it takes months for you to get what you paid for, sometimes you don't get it at all and, most of it seems to be coming from China!
From what I've heard from family and friends, it's very similar to Wish. Long shipping times (from China), questionable quality, and a hassle to return anything. Probably fine for small items but I wouldn't trust it for something big or important.
My answer 💖
from a video, it's not ENTIRELY a scam or legally. You can buy stuff from them but from what I've learned, they ain't horrible but still be careful
considering the fact that they struggle to pronounce stuff on their ads, i dont trust it enough to even try it
Oh really? Well if they do that I won’t be spending my hard work earned money for that.
ever heard of too good to be true? well thats what i think when i see their prices

It's not a scam, some things are hitting and miss, of course. Pretty much like wish, although a little better than them. I've gotten a couple pretty nice things from them though.
I have a coworker who's pregnant and she was telling me how she bought baby clothes off of it and they arrived and seemed of decent quality.
Oh okay. As long as it’s decent. That’s good
It is if Amazon, Shein and Wish had a baby! And it is a scam 100%
Typically if it's too good to be true, it's not true
Also, think about it. If it's that much off, how the quality of the shit they're selling, truly is. I mean if you're in a pinch and need SOMETHING, sure, but, keep that in mind
Bought some things. Not the greatest quality but you get what you pay for. Delivery takes a week so don't expect it quickly
It's a scam. They steal your information and credit card info and give it to their affiliate companies.
Ha stole my comment. We have had briefings on this app at my company. Its a cyber security nightmare, Just about as bad as Wish.
Its like wish or ali express.
Cheap knockoffs, at a seemingly low price, but in the end its more expensive than getting the good stuff.
I keep getting those ads. Tried to see what stuff they might have but kept asking to create an account. No thank you.
I listen to a radio show that has a local computer guy on Tuesday. Last week he talked about this and said it is a scam.
It's basically Wish, but with a bit more quality.
It’s just another iteration of aliexpress romwe wish shein and alibaba but I do think that the scam part is when they say you can get free items pretty sure that’s not true
Haven't had a problem with them.
That’s good. I just didn’t wanna just shop or spend money on something that is a scam unless I know it’s real.
It’s cheap Chinese garbage made by slave labor that you may or may not get when you order from the site.
It is currently the most downloaded app. The pros are prices are very cheap but the cons it's based out of China like SHEIN and your info and identity can be easily compromised
Definitely a scam. They do sell products, but they also sell your data. Steer clear.
Not a scam, just a data mine and allowance of slave labour also possibly used to mine crypto and band encrypted communications
The adds keep popping up all over... annoying
I feel like a billionaire, Temu, Temu
I was signing the Temu ad song 😂
The new wish app from china
Looks like a scam to me
It's a legit app!
