So start with what does he like? What is he into? Otherwise I am just taking guesses for a person I don't know. It could take me twenty tries to even get something close to what he would like. It would help to know a little about his likes or hobbies. Also remember that gifts don't have to be physical gifts. You can plan something special that he would like to do. That is always a good thing because memories last a lifetime.
