It’s cute but every woman is different. If you know she’s into make up and lip gloss, sure. I think you can get her anything that’s thoughtful to her liking. A birthday card is always sweet.

Seems like a nice gift to me. Unless she is an only lipstick kind of gal. It will be a good indicator as to her character. I know a friend of mine bought me five chapsticks in a box with all different flavors and I thought it was great. Now if I run out of my blistex I can use one of them. Someone who is a friend will appreciate anything you get them I'd say but within reason.
