I like this watch. I tried to search it but I can’t find it. I found other watches if the same brand and cost ridiculous prices being used!
I can only imagine this one would be far more than 18k. What do you guys think? Would you pay this amount for something you really like that is already used?

I don't know about this watch, but I like fully mechanical, well crafted instruments. For me, it's classic cameras. I've probably spent in excess of 18,000 dollars on cameras and lenses. Some are older than me and in perfect working order.

Before you do buy something though, make sure to research it well. See if you can find other watches like this one and determine what price they went for. It's not uncommon for a seller to get carried away and think he/she owns a gem, whereas the reality could be that there are hunderds of this very watch out there. It could be worrh 18,000, it could be worth 1,800.

If you like special things, make sure to check out local garage sales. You can find real treasures there if you know what you're looking for.

If this watch is a one-off item, only one ever made, then the price is whatever a potential buyer is willing to pay for it.

I'll preface this by saying I'm, let's call it thrifty. My favorite place to shop is "Le Curb". And I found a lot of good stuff there! I am also a big no for any kind of jewelry even my wedding band. My sweat is for some reason highly acidic and it's very irritating to wear jewelry especially constricting type like a ring. That being said I would never pay for a watch when my phone can give me the time for free. I realize a watch is also a piece of jewelry not just a functional item but I don't care for things much at all, I care for experiences.

I don't know if it's an "expensive thing" but my car is in my name and I just paid it off. It's a 2020 Kia Soul EX with the top trim. My loan payments totaled about $32k. I bought it in August 2019 and only have 56k miles on it. I love this car.

As for the most expensive thing I have, it's my wife... and I will still be paying for her after I am dead and turned to dust.
