What are your favorite car tires and why do you recommend them?

All tires made by Pirelli or Michelin are top of the line in durability, handling and safety. They are not the cheapest tires available by any means but I believe they are the safest and best performing ones. I wouldn't have anything else on my cars.

Michelin Defender remains the best to me, it has a very long tread life, smooth ride, and great wet traction.

That's what I got- Michelin Defender 2. SO far, so good.

If you're in a region that gets a decent amount of snow I would recommend for most normal cars or cross overs ( not sports cars) Michelin cross climate 2 tires. They are part of a new category of tires called all weather which is different than all season. All season really isn't great in snow. Should be called 3 season tires but the new all weather category gives you a better well rounded tire all year round for areas with snow.

If you don't get snow ever I would look at any grand touring all season tire from Continental or Michelin. Both great brands. If you tell me your specific car and model year I can help you narrow down your search. Just tell me if you get snow or not. You don't have tell me where you live lol.
