It feels safe and I feel cared about. When you are laying there you can let down your guard and just relax. Maybe even have her run her fingers through your hair. It's more about the feeling of another person you can trust who cares about you then the actual physical feeling of laying there. Though there is the softness and warmth of her lap as well.
