Do guys find the 'model body shape' attractive?

Question

Im confused, people put so much praise on how important it is for women to have curves, saying men like fuller body. 
But when I go online shopping, the models they use. even for swimwear is so skinny. 
Do men find them attractive, e. g on the beach. 
I mean these models have pretty faces but do they turn you on or its too skinny.

modeling girls are very skinny, also they seem unhealthy, a woman's body looks best when she has optimal weight, too skinny reveals bones, big turn off. a little bit of fat is good as he curves are seen more and she fits in her dresses perfectly.

Also these pictures are 70 edited after taking the original picture, so font completely go on that. her shape and color is manipulated a lot.

dont go on models, this fashion industry will never make you feel satisfied and happy with how you really look. every girl has her uniqueness. you already look very beautiful. more tries will spoil your appearance.

I have guy friends, my bf included, who claim they only want a girl that's curvy but then all the girls they're dating are stick thin.

It really depends on the guy. Some guys like girl's who are so skinny with no boobs and some prefer BBWs, cottage cheese and all. Don't worry about it though, I saw you're profile pic, and you're a stunner. :) And from what I can see you have a very nice figure.

I have the same body type, naturally skinny.  And I definitely have no problem attracting guys. there's plenty that like that body type.

Fashion models are generally a size or two smaller than the 'ideal' men find attractive - the reason is actually simple, it's because clothes look better on them. It's not because 'society' is 'pushing skinniness as a beauty ideal' and all that crap that feminists tell you - it's plain and simply because they sell more clothes that way. That's all. With the average fashion model you're looking more at the clothes, while with the average 'model' model you're looking more at the woman than the clothes. If you want to know the 'ideal' that guys like look at the sort of body that you find on the cover of a magazine like Sports Illustrated, GQ etc.

You don't need to be so insecure, the body can be shaped and toned, it is not a big deal - if you really care about how your body looks, all you need to do is spend a few months at the gym.

And as far as models go, yes I do think they have good bodies. It's not hard to get.

I use to have a beer belly, because I ate a lot of junk food in college. But now I'm toned, and all it took was going to the gym 4 - 5 times a week, and also running 20 miles a week, for a year.

So besides your bone structure, your body can be shaped / toned however you like, just gotta experience some pain.

Don't like that shit. I love fitness bodies. What they have is just being hungry all the time. What truly is attractive is to see that a girl works for her body. Then everything feels right and looks right. Curvy is fine too.

I could bash my head against the wall if I see how many girls let them influence by "ideals" (lol) which are created with professional light setups & photographers and 3 make up specialists working for about 2 hours for 1 model. And then Photoshop the humanity out of the girls in 3 hours, and there you have your ideal.

if the models in those photos have those figures as their natural body type (and not from extreme dieting) then I have no problem with them. But most girls don't have that body type and that's okay. Any of those 3 girls in those photos would look just fine (if not better) with some more weight.

I've wondered the same thing. Why do they say guys like curves on a girl if they use models who are skinny as sticks? Confusing and contradictory! In my opinion all 3 girls are a little too skinny for me. They are quite pretty, but I've never gone for skinny girls as they never go for skinny guys lol

The fashion industry is dominated by gay men who have a preference for women who look like teenage boys (skinny, no curves). Now, I'm referring more to "haute couture" fashion like you see in fashion shows and magazines, of course. There are plenty of plus size models in regular clothing advertisements.

Straight men have much more varied preferences.

most men would prefer slightly more meat than that. fashion modelling is aimed at women. it reflects what women want in themselves. if you want to see what men want in women, look at erotic models and p*rn.

but dont mistake this as an endorsement of the Dove models for example. that was just ridiculous. i guess maybe models aimed at women go to one extreme or the other: too fat or too skinny. the Dove models were just yuck: thats how most men felt about it

There should be more flesh on some areas but its not like they are not attractive.
They look pretty.
That's why we have different shapes of males and females to choose one of our own preference.

So I guess these should not be standards to measure someone's body or looks.
