Do guys know If they're hot? How?

No offense but most of the attractive guys I've met have always been jerks or douchebags that think they can get ANY GIRL THEY WANT. They are COCKY and think they are above everyone else. Some are players.
But how do they know they're attractive? Girls usually don't compliment guys much especially not my age. Girls in high school (16-17) are pretty shy and we usually don't go around complimenting hot guys. So how do they know they're attractive or at least that they are more attractive than other guys if girls rarely compliment them?

Most attractive guys I know have big egos too and it's weird because they are teenagers so how do they know they are attractive? it's not like girls my age compliment guys that much or hit on guys because we usually don't.

Believe it or not other guys are way more supportive of each other than women are. My mentor claude, who actually runs a multi-million dollar fashion business and has opinions like this for a living, told me i should try modeling. When he says some shit i tend to listen to him. My model friend bri who had been in playboy said the same thing. And my roommates said i had the body to be a stripper. I don't often get complimented, but when i do, i take it to heart. Barbers often say shit about my jawline or face, but i don't listen to them as much because i know they're after tips. In the end its more about knowing what you've got, what your limitations are, and how far confidence and presentation will take you. Yeah, i'm cocky at times, and i'm humble at others. I hide my weaknesses with faux self aggrandizement and i play my strengths down, because thats what its like to be a man. Do you think i could walk around admitting my insecurities and be treated with a modicum of respect from women? Hell no. Women aren't like that. They see weakness and they go for the throat. So you tell me how to reconcile that. I'm not going to be walked on, i'll walk like i know what i'm made of and they're not gonna fuck with that.

guys scale themselves with 'trophys'. that's why guys who never dated girls or have low 'win ratios' tend to think they are ugly. let's say guy 1 goes to a club, gets 2 girls. guy 2 gets 1 girl. who won? GUY 1. (it's not that simple! it was just one example) also a example is: the amount of girls that are open to flirt with you when you walk down the street × hot hot they are to you.
a simple thing, it's not usual that girls are all flirty and open as the amount of guys triing to approach girls in club and getting some dumps, to simple it out, guys approach any kinds of girls and ugly girls can get even more approached cause guys think they can get laid easier.
so it's kind of a hint of being attractive when you get hot girls making eye contact, smiling on you while you walk down the street (and is a good confidence bonus when you want to approach some girls that day/confidence equals attractivenes, thats what people on here say)

well. this can be completely random you should know. it can all be controversial in some way, thats why I also will never find out the truth. it happens that the ugly girls dump you and the hot girl wants you. the problem is even in the club you (I) get girls eyes cathching on me and also get rejected but getting rejected by ugly girls doesn't hurt me. exactly this mindset makes hot girls more open sometimes due to only a few guys would try the risk of being rejected by a hot girl. as you see I can't defend my own oppinion

Yes I know I'm attractive. I've been told and I notice a lot of girls checking me out lol. I can be cocky but that's only with other guys. I try my best to be as respectful as I can when interacting with women. The thing I notice is guys that were "players" in high school never really retain that after high school. Women came too easy to them while guys like me strive to better ourselves and work on ourselves to become a more desirable man. These cocky attractive guys are usually the guys you see at bars trying to just get with every and any woman they see. Keyword is "trying".

The first time I realized I was a "hot guy" was in middle school. We were on a field trip at a water park and while I was waiting in line a group of 4 girls approached me and asked if they could have a hug. We did a group hug and after that happened my friend came up to me and asked how I knew those girls. I told him I didn't know them and he just started laughing and shaking his head and laughing. Ever since that time girls have approached me and I get a lot of looks from girls in public. I don't get approached daily or anything but it happens once in a while especially if I'm dressed nicely or looking particularly good that day. That being said I am actually not good at all with women. I am still kind of shy and I'm sure most guys my age have more experience than I do. But people always assume I get a lot of girls still.

Women are so subtle about letting guys know that they find us attractive that most guys may go their whole lives never even catching a woman checking him out. A guy has to be exceptionally good looking for women to start becoming obvious about it. Only the most attractive men know they are attractive because they are so successful with girls.

Girls shows who they like by so many ways it's like a signal lamp. Besides those guy who is unable to detect those signals, are also oblivious to how to get girls. Even "hot" guys can be unsucessful with girls, when not behaving properly.

We don't.

We don't mind being complimented on our appearance but in general we don't care. We judge for ourselves.

A fat, bald guy with bad teeth can think he's perfectly entitled to a supermodel and if that fits his self-image he doesn't care if he's attractive or not.
