Dyed my hair without permission, now what?

So I spent the night at a friends and she had hair dye. We woke up at 8:00 and decided we wanted to dye our hair brown. I texted my dad but didn't want to wait for his reply because it was now or never as we were going to church at 9:00. I didn't think he'd care as my older sister dyes her hair and he's allowed me to use a lightener we on my hair for years. So I dyed i from blonde to brown with semi-permanent dye and went to church. Then I came back to my friends house and see my dad has replied no dye. I texted him back apologizing and explaining what happened and now I'm home waiting for him to come home. What now? My dad can be really mean. I should add that I'm a senior in high school and in my opinion old enough to make my own decisions about my hair.

I think your dad is still trying to control every aspect of your life, but it's kind of your fault too. f you're asking him for permission then you're giving him the power to allow him to decide what to do with your body. I don't see anything wrong with your hair being a different color and how that could be a problem for him.
