Skin Color and Preference?

In Japan, the traditional standard of beauty is Snow White skin and dark, dark hair. All over the world through the ages, fair skin and heavy weight were desirable traits for a lover or future spouse, as these showed that you never had to be outside due to the fact that you could pay others to do all the outside work for you and you had more than enough to eat, making you quite wealthy. In modern day America, the traditional standards of beauty have been flipped, making bleached hair, dark skin, and thinness, nearly to the point of being unhealthy, are now considered desirable and showing wealth.

So, ladies and gentlemen, what do you think, value, and/or prefer? Do you think fair skin on a woman is attractive? Do you prefer darker skin? Does it even matter to you at all?
