My height is 172 cm am I short?

The confusion often comes from people thinking that height is black and white. Medium height is a spectrum just like tall and short. To me you are medium height. Short would be less than 160 and tall more than 185. Different people will have different scales but I believe that you just don't go from tall to short. There is an inbeween

172.54 cm is 5.8" your 0.54 away with hair you will be 5'8" unless you're already counting your hair but you're closer to 5'8" than 5'7" . I'm 173cm

The average seems to be 175cm ranging to 178cm in most countries around the world. Though in about 10 years it will increase to 178cm ranging to 183cm

I only know a couple of girls shorter than me and a few the same height. Most girls think I'm short and I would call myself short. I see more people taller than me than shorter than me. So yes that's short in my eyes but like the other guy said can't do anything about it. Some girls will , some girls won't that's a touchy height. I find the short girls have a big problem with a guys height and I usually date girls 172cm 174cm and even 177cm. Sounds strange but they expect some guys to be shorter than them so they tend to not care as much. In all honesty just be confident man. You're still 2 inches taller than her. Only problem will be the high heels. But just wear some boots that way if she wear 3inch heels you 2 will be the same height and if it bothers her chuck some insoles in the boots to make you a little taller than her. You have a 50/50 chance with her

I got a tip for you. Before you go out at night try to have a little sleep and do some full body stretching when you wake up. Wake up have a shower stretch your legs front and back your butt , chest and back. At least 1 minute per body part. During the day your spine compresses. it happens to everyone. Meaning you're shorter at night than you were in the morning and mid day. Having a sleep and stretching will give you your mid day height back. While every one else is at their night height. It's not much but it might make the difference between getting a date and not getting a date plus you will feel more confident knowing you're closer to your true height rather than being at your night night which is your shortest.

I have male friends who are around the same heigh or even shorter and have girlfriends. I'm sorry to tell you that the problem isn't your heigh. here.

I know a 158 cm girl who says a man shouldn't be under 180cm. Height is very important for girls and 172 cm is considered a bad height by girls. Even short girls want taller men than 172 cm. 172 cm is considered a very bad height for men.

It depends on who you ask. A girl who's 175 cm or taller will say you're kinda short. A girl who's 167 cm and below will say you're tall. To be honest, you can't really change your height, so you may as well like yourself for what you're like. :P

Well, It depends, I you´re comparing yourself with girls worldwide, the tallest chicks are living in Lithuania ( or latvia don´t remember) the average height being 169 cm for girls, so in theory you are taller than the tallest girls in the world. Now if you´re comparing with males, you are considered damn short in the Netherland, but also considered damn tall in Phillipines, China, India and major part of south america and Spain. In countries like Russia you are in the low end of the average.

Im Colombian ( south america) and Im 172 cm, I am considered taller than the average here, but there´s off course taller guys, in the states I felt actually taller when I lived in California,

Focus on your Physique, if your not a damn midget on 5´6 or below you will be average mostly anywhere ( just try not getting depressed when you go to the Netherlands, trust me, being 172 cm there isn´t good haha)
