LEAST ATTRACTIVE HEIGHT FOR A GUY?

Got into an argument with a friend, opinions differ on this question, want to see what other people think.

Short (5'7 and under)

Lower Average (5'8 - 5'9)

Upper Average (5'10 - 5'11)

Tall (6'0 and above)

I like a guy to be taller than me. Not into short guys and not into super skinny dudes either. I don't want to fee l your bones. That being said, in high school, I fell for a guy who I would not consider my type at all (short and skinny) simply because he had stunning blue eyes, a nice smile and could make me laugh. He was kind and considerate when most guys wouldn't give me the time of day. So, initially, not attracted to short guys, but in the long run it might not matter so much.

I went with 5'7, but really 5'6 would be my answer. I'm 5'6 and 1/2 and I have dated shorter than myself in the past and it never seemed to work out for various reasons. 5'8 starts to be attractive to me, but at the same time height doesn't really matter as mush to me. If he doesn't like me wearing high heels because he feels insecure about his size, then we have an issue and that's about it.

Well I thought short, but my friend was going on about how he thinks girls get something similar to motherly instincts for short guys and find them more attractive/cute because of this, I called BS and made this.

He thought lower average would be the least attractive because it's not enough to be considered tall, but not enough to be what he thinks would be cute to girls. He's 5'9 though and blames a lot of rejections on his height, think he saw a few shorter guys with GFs to fuel his argument.

He said he was a little jealous of my height too (6'2) but funnily enough tall got more votes than lower average. So this poll is like a double win against against his thoughts.

yeah i think your height is more attractive... everyone i know prefers taller guys, but unless i am taller than the guy, personality matters most
so i think your friend has a weak argument about the rejections :)

Thanks! Your height is also pretty attractive, actually probably my favorite height for a girl, although you're right, personality is #1.

And damn right his argument is weak, this should help smack some sense into him haha.

Height preference for guys is nothing like it is for girls. Most guys don't care, it's pretty low on the list of things to judge on, and if a guy doesn't like your height it's likely intimidation, which means he's too weak for you anyway haha.

Well it's summer here right now and I had one of the worst nights of sleep a couple of days ago from the heat, I wish it snowed here... But that's life haha, I want cold and have heat, you want heat and have cold, trade? ;)

5'7 is short, 5'4 is very short. 5'7 is statistically and anecdotalally short. Some 5'10 guys get called short by girls.

Anyway, I'm talking about 1st world countries, where the average is like 5'9/5'10 added in the 5'8 - 5'11 average leeway due to national differences. Anything above average is by definition tall and anything below average is by definition short.

Another way of looking at it, with the average of 5'9/5'10 2-3 inches taller is 6ft, which is universally considered tall, 2-3 inches shorter is 5'7 so following the 6ft logic, it's short.
