I would rather be a Jedi, as a Jedi recognizes the potential energies of the Force in his immediate surrounding environments. These potentials may be employed by channeling the Force.

A superhero must trust in his own given measure of power. A Jedi has the knowledge that the be one with the Force is to have access to all power. This is why it is a greater work for a Jedi to meditate on goodness and harmony than to exploit power. Exploitation of such energies may be a necessary disturbance in the Force, but contemplation is oneness with the Force.

My point is Superman's powers decrease out of Earth's gravity, also his powers depends on the energy of the Sun, meaning that if Goku and Superman fight say, in Vegeta's Planet or wherever else Goku would still have full potential (ki) while Superman will be weaker. Also, it's quite disappointing how Batman and Lex Luthor have kicked Superma's butt with only a sample of Kriptonite. (Sorry, I'm experiencing a full blown geek moment).
