Okay. When finding a bra the band should fit correctly and feel snug without any gaps and the cups and straps should also fit snug. If your boobs can fit in a 36a but the band size will not fit then go to a 34b and then keep going up a cup size but down a band size to find the perfect fit. Yes 36a,34b,32c, and 30d are all the same cup capacity however they vary in band size so someone might be bigger and appear to have smaller boobs while the 30 band size girl most likely looks like she has very huge boobs but in reality compared to everyone else she doesn't but to herself she does and yes sister sizing is real and it is pretty easy to understand if you write out all the sizes then go diagonally to the left to see which other bra sizes have the same capacity

They hold the same amount of breast tissue but they are NOT the same. 36A is meant for a person with a 36" underbust and 37" bust. 34B is meant for someone with a 34" underbust and 36" bust. 32C is meant for someone with a 32" underbust and 35" bust.
You need to measure your bust and underbust to determine the best fit for you. The cups on each of those can hold the same amount of tissue but the are not shaped the same. 36A is going to be flatter and wider because the tissue is spread across a larger body than the 32C which will be narrower and stick out more.

honestly it depends on each person and the store brand, so go to the store where u buy bras and ask to get measured
What exactly is the sister sizing system? I'm interested because I'm 38DD but I can fit into size c an d.
Wear whatever is most comfortable. Some bands are too tight for me so i get a size bigger regardless of whether its my size or not. The size is just a guideline.
