Hi! This is using algebra to model the situation.
M is Michelle's money
R is Rachel's money
W is Wei Yi's money

Things we know:
M = 6R

A) W + R = 1321
B) W + M = 4386

As M = 6R, we can multiply A) by 6 to get

6R + 6W = 7926

and sub in M for 6R

M + 6W = 7926

Now take away M + W = 4586 to get

5W = 3340

divide by 5

W = 668

you pose 2 equations:
6x+y=4586
x+y=1321
with x the amount of money Rachel has.
then you take y=y (the money of Wei Yi)
y=1321-x
y=4586-6x
y=y
then
1321-x=4586-6x
5x=3265
x=653
you replace x in one of the equations to find
y=668

Lets assign variables to name for our own ease

Michelle = A
WeiYi = B
Rachel = C

according to given details we get

A + B = 4586 eq.1
B + C = 1321 eq.2
A= 6C eq.3
B= ?

from eq 2

B = 1321 - C eq.4

from eq 1
B = 4586 - A but also A = 6C So,
B = 4586 - 6C now compare it with eq.4 to get value of C

1321 - C = 4586 - 6C rearrange
6C - C = 4586 -1321
5C = 3265
C = 3265/5 = 653 PUT THIS VALUE OF C EQ.2

B + (653) = 1321
B = 1321 - 653 = 668
SO B=668

Hence WeiYi saved $ 668
