Yea lol I had the same phone as you did, it needed the prepaid minutes, like 1 text was 1 cent and 1 minute of calling was 1$ and phone calls after 9 were free or something lol.
I was like 12 and had it for a year or two.
My next phone was one of the one with the slide up keyboard, and it turned sideways. I had that for two years till I got an iPhone 4 and when that broke after 7 months I had to use the other phone again
I never even got mine activated, I wasn't calling anybody at 6 lol
I just wanted it because everyone else had a phone
I didn't have a phone til I was 17.
Even then I decided to use it without service since I only used certain apps.
It's very recent that I finally decided buy a new phone, and also get a service, though I don't really use it for calling.
The old phone was an sky model touch phone.
I also bought a blackberry flip phone.
Love those.
I do remember my mom having nokia. It was the hype back then.
I remember what it was, although I don't have an exact picture it was something like this:

I got it when I was in 3rd grade.
Still better then mine lol
Yeah.

Do they still make land lines?
Or whatever it's called
Yes, they do. Many businesses and individuals still rely on them.
I remember using one years ago
It was awkward.
I'd get one as a house phone but I'm not good with remembering numbers
Yep, it was a Motorola flip phone. I couldn't find a picture of it, but I also had one of these:

Those were the days. Lol.
Looks like a walkie talkie

Something like this. Analog not digital. Voice only, text didn't exist. Battery life was measured in minutes. The NiCad batteries doubled as space heaters. You had to carry at least 3 batteries. No way that thing was going in your pocket. Coverage was shitty at best. No apps existed. There was no OS. Voice quality was spotty (analog). It was basically an evolved walkie talkie. LOL, good riddance. We've come a long way.
I got the mytouch when I was 14 in 2013:

yes! lol my very first phone i got when i was 12 years old. it's very similar to your first phone but bright pink and was a 'slide' phone, not a 'flip' one. i only had that phone for one year before i got an iphone lol
Wow, that’s amazing you kept your first phone for 10 years! It’s funny how those first gadgets hold so many memories. Reminds me how simple things can have deep meaning—kind of like the timeless message in

I'm not sure I can. I just remember that it was very cheap I can maybe remember my second or third or fourth phone though.
My mom told me my phone was like 40$.. I don't know if that's true but it's probably free now lol
maybe if it was used? here phones cost more.
it was a flip phone so i dont know if they were cheap back then but they're dirt cheap now
well that is good I think. If it works then its great.
The best phone I ever had

Nope. I have a phone, but I probably value it less than my shoe laces. I can't say that I even remember much about my current phone and it's sitting 8 inches away from me on my desk as I type this. I could look, but fuck that.

I had phone after I was 17 years old, is like this:

My first phone weighed about ten pounds and had a two foot antenna.
I feel old.
I remember what it looked like but idr what it was called. It was some flip phone. 12 years ago. I sent it overseas when I got a new one. Couldn't use that anymore as I changed carriers.
I had a cheap prepaid phone. It was a really small one, LG brand. It was having really shitty service with constant provider signal not detected issues and dropped calls that I had to get a new phone and provide eventually.
I got my first phone after I got my first job. I could only make calls on it because I didn't want to pay for texting.
My first phone was a blackberry I think. It was one of those keyboard slider phones and I got it when I was 11.
A Nokia brick lmfao.
I skipped flip phones thank god
Yep, I had an LG android cell phone with ntelos service.
I remember what it looked like, but I don't remember it's model number. It was a basic Samsung flip phone from 2007.
I got my first phone at 18. Yeah I know.
It was a Sony Xperia.
It was one called Sagem and it was pink😂😂 10 years ago.
I do not, some throw away gadget flip phone by samsung most likely and it was shared with my little bro. I had a razr for a while though.
yeah, black and white, no pics, not sure if it could text because i never did text with it. I think it was a Nokia
Mine was a LG something or other circa 2005. Flip phone with a camera. I was about 21.
Yes, it's probably at the top of mount Ararat 😂
I'm surprised I still have it I was actually going through my childhood junk box and found it
Oldest thing in there
A Nokia (a. k. a. a brick)
It's amazing how much cell phones have improved
mine was a flip phone similar to what you showed in the first picture, I don't remember the model name though
my first phone was an iPhone 3gs
I hid my phone up my ass.
