Do people ever say you look like a celebrity?

People kept telling me I looked like Lucky Blue Smith. But I don't see it. The only reason I think people think we look alike is because he has white-ish hair and blue eyes, I have blue eyes and I used to have white hair too. So I think people see that and jump to the conclusion that we look alike, but we don't at all. As soon as I dyed my hair back to brown, I stopped getting those comments.
I'll take it as a compliment though because he's a model, its like saying I look like a model so thanks ;)

I generally don't get compared to celebrities much since I'm mixed (white American/Japanese) and tend to look odd.

That said, I had an ex-girlfriend who repeatedly said I look like a younger Vincent Gallo without the beard and the messy look.

I'm not sure I like the comparison since I don't find him very good-looking. :-D I can see why she thinks that though since I have a big nose and prominent brow, and probably she saw my Western features in an exaggerated way as a Japanese girl.

I don't have quite that level of exaggerated features, but from the perspective of a Japanese person, they probably see my Western features exaggerated that way. It's kind of insightful how Japanese people see me as more white/American while Americans see me as more Japanese.

That ex was also kind of strange. She was very attractive to me but she wanted to get rhinoplasty to make her nose bigger. She wanted to look more Western and worshiped that kind of look.

@nothinq Do people see your Japanese features more in the U. K? I must admit I've rarely met people who are quarter Japanese. I meet some people who are half and their looks cover a wide spectrum. I even know a boy who has blonde hair and blue eyes in spite of being mixed (can hardly tell he even has a Japanese mother).

@nothinq Wow, that's an incredible variety there. In my case I feel like I look predominantly more Japanese than American except when I'm in Japan, Japanese people see those Western features more prominently. I often thought I could pass as a native Japanese person but a lot of my friends say I don't look at all Japanese. It's a strange phenomena.

@nothinq My self-impression is that of a Japanese person with slightly lighter hair and eyes, more 3-dimensional face with the brows and bigger nose, then a bit thicker chest/arms/back/legs/neck. It's like just take a Japanese person and slightly enlarge certain features and you end up with me... at least that's the way I perceive myself. :-D
