What does it mean if I am talking to a guy and I text him goodnight and he says "I hope you have a good night, I appreciate you :)" ? Is "I appreciate you" a bad sign? Like he just likes talking to me for enjoyment?

well some people are just not that good at expressing their feelings through words. my opinion he's just saying that he appreciates your goodnight text, cause hell, if you're in a close relation to him, that text might mean a lot to him
