Can girls learn to pee standing up?

I know this is a goofy question, but a woman I know swears she taught herself to pee standing up. She says the worst part of being a woman is having to sit in public restrooms so she taught herself to avoid that. She even explained her technique to me and it sounded reasonable. She says she can do it without making a mess and without dripping on her clothing.

Is she yanking my chain or can women really do this? If they can, why don't all women learn to do this? It seems to be a very practical skill.

Only way I can think of is to stand right over the toilet. Though I have no interest to learn to pee standing up, because sitting is more comfortable, so I haven't tried anything.

My friend claims that she can pee in a urinal without any problem. She says she sits at home, but stands in public restrooms.

There is no skill involved, you just do it, nothing to it.

Now I can pee standing up almost as good as guys because of practice in the shower lol

I think it's a bit silly unless companies rearrange the interior of a stall to allow squatting...

@CHARismatic110 What about if you are somewhere without a toilet like camping or driving and you desperately needed to go? Would you stand to pee or squat? It seems like squatting would make it difficult to avoid peeing on your clothing without completely removing it.
