So I posted old photos of me on FB (memories) from 4-5 years ago.. This girl I went to high school with used to call me skinny and would always tell me to eat more yet she'd always ask for some of my food and eat it. She was bigger than me. I remember telling my mom this and she'd say how she was jealous of me. She even used to say I look anorexic. So these days I am a lot bigger I'm 160 lbs and I used to be 120-125 nothing over 130. So she comments on my pictures on FB saying things like "you look more pretty and healthy than you used too" she only commented this two comments on two of my pictures I uploaded today and even said me and my sister look like twins. I also remember her getting mad whenever a guy would flirt with me or whenever we'd hang out. She used to be mean to them. A couple months ago a guy confessed to having feelings for me but he said that she told him that I didn't like him and I wasn't interested in him cause he apparently told her how he felt about me. But at the same time she was my friend and seemed very over protective when it came to guys and rude people so I'm not sure.. So she's practically saying I looked healthier back then and talking like she doesn't see it's a memory from a couple years back. I don't look that way either I kind of let myself go from those pictures so it made me wonder.. What do you think she means?

From what you’ve said, it’s totally a backhanded compliment. Basically she’s happy you’ve gained weight since she was probably very jealous of you back in the day when she was making comments that you appeared anorexic. Anyhow, you’re gorgeous, so please don’t let this toxic person get into your head.
Depending on how tall are ya 120 lb might been below normal skinny doesn't mean healthy if you over doing it and a little fat here and then to give you a rounder shape ain't something you should avoid
So compared to a skinny pretty you now you're a normal prettier you
Firstly if she is not really in your circke these days id put it out your mind you don't have to unfriend her just maybe mute or something. Usually if someone says you look healthy its a compliment but it's mostly said to old fellows like me not young people. 😉
