Yes, i not only believe this but i know first hand that this is in reality an accurate statement. It has to do with deeper levels of your mind, that usually you would only be able to acess throught altered states of consciounsness such as hypnosis. The truth is that majority of things that happen in people´s life, but they are unable to understand, come from these deeper levels of consciousness. In these levels there are many memories you usuually isn´t able to recall at will anymore, and a lot of these memories have to do with situations of your past that weren´t well understood and assimilated, so these situations create a pattern , and yes, the famous law of attraction is real, and act upon these patterns that exist in your deeper consciousness levels with even more intensity than they act in your daily consciousness level, and the deep consciousness level therefore will be the main level of consciousness that will dictate how your life you go, i know it seems unfair that a level that is very hard to acess is what will have the major weight in how things will come to pass, but that is the way it works sadly, that is the reason i recommend everyone to undergo hypnosis nowadays, you need to clear your deep consciousness levels if you want to have a fullfiling life.
I do believe that, yes. But not everything. When I meet a good looking girl and she wants to talk to me, is that a coincidence? No, because most girls don't automatically talk to me at random. If I walk outside, and it starts to rain, is that a coincidence? Most likely, yes. The weather forecast was telling me that that could happen. Just a coincidence that it happened at the exact moment as I open the door. When you fall in love with someone, is that a coincidence? No, most likely not. There are a lot of girls out there, you could've picked anyone of them. But you've fallen for this one in specific. No one knows why exactly, but that could be faith. You were destined to do that. You couldn't change yourself, or the fact that that happened.
Yes I sure do! I actually asked this question not long ago! I would not be anywhere near where I am now if a lot of stuff hadn’t happened. Couldn’t see it at the time but saw it years later
Yeah certainly. At least thinking postively that way will lead to a more fulfilling life rather than a destructive one.
No. There are things that you can't control that come about for no reason (spiritually). Shit happens.

So you're asking if we believe in fate/destiny
No, people underestimate the power of coincidence. Things can just happen, not everything has to have meaning. You have some control over your life, but not much. There's no use in dwelling over it, just go with the flow
Personally? When it comes to people, yes.
If I carry bitterness and anger in my heart then my chances are really high that I’ll run into difficult experiences because I’m projecting hatred and negative energy.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s gonna be times where we go “YO WTF WAS THAT!” but those are random variables which can be broken down into a scientific explanation or religious view depending on who you ask
Some things are out of your control. Some things are fate. Some things were predestined. Some bad things that happened were in your control but you were too ignorant and it therefore allowed it to happen to you. All of that combined happened for a reason.
Hmm, no one even mentioned "God" here. From the Christian perspective, yes (Ecclesiastes 3:1; Ephesians. 1:11; Galatians 6:7-8). That doesn't mean that he causes bad things to occur, but he allows them to happen for various reasons (and usually we don't know what the reasons are).
And by the way, when people say "I don't believe in coincidences", they apparently are misusing the word. It just means occurrences that coincide; happening at the same time. The word they mean to use is "happenstance" or "chance".
Of course what's implied is not determinism but some plan by a metaphysical entity, be it God or fate. Therefore I must say no. I'd have had the same answer if determinism was meant, but that's besides the point.
Actually yes if it don't then you don't have a reason anymore to live then no one has a reason to live if you do something then it either has good results or consequences and the reason one of them happened is because you chose to do it
Yeah, there's always a chain of events that lead up to something happening.
Scientifically speaking, most of the time.
In the general sense of the phrase, no. Not how most people think of it anyway.
If everything happened for a reason, then why are we not all perfect? Why would an all-powerful god allow all the atrocities that happen? It is impossible for God to be in control moment-to-moment unless they were a complete asshole
Technically speaking, yes. It can all be explained by physics, biology, and chance/randomness.
Of course everything happens for a 'reason', but that doesn't mean the reason is always a good one.
there's definitely a reason for me being a dwarf
Everything happens for a reason though

No. Definitely not.
Terrible things happen to decent people all the time. It’s iust life. There’s no reason. We try to build the reason. We try to make life better.
No, life is just a bunch of random coincidences thrown at out lives
Yeah, I bet there was a reason for me spilling some mayonnaise on my favourite shirt.
So no, not really, and especially not for a religious reason
No. People don't like to feel helpless. Applying meaning to something gives them some sense of control again.
Absolutely not. There is way too much awful shit that happens in the world to truly believe this. It's a naive mindset if you ask me
I mean if we "discover" a reason, did we actually discover or did we assign a reason to that event? The latter doesn't assume the existence of objective reason.
I was the 57th male to answer yes, and I was born in 1957. That happened for a reason.
No, I don't believe anyone or anything is organising things.
