I feel like everyone who is getting really really high percentages just lied on every question to make them self look interesting. OR you need therapy or something I don't know lmaooo

I really thought the Narcissistic part would be higher.

But apparently I'm an entitled psychopath. Then again, I've never been given an ounce of opportunity or respect in my life so I'm entitled to feel I deserve some special treatment. Though I don't see it as special treatment, just fair treatment. Something I have not been given.

Also, i think it's weird how high the sadistic levels for women are but the men have very low scores, speaking overall of course.

Ended up with this but some questions confused me, like asking me if I avoid direct conflict with people who may be useful in the future. I tend to try my best to avoid conflict with everyone, so I ended up with strongly disagree.

But I wasn't sure if the question was asking me if I was trying to specifically avoid conflict with people who might be useful to me (no, I try to avoid them with everyone), or if I were to favor avoiding direct conflicts if conflicts are unavoidable (yes, if there is a conflict I'd prefer direct to going around each other's backs).

@Volvagia I thought I'd test far more dark side. I have a ruthless side to me and thought I'd score higher at least on psychopathy. But the test seemed targeted towards my better points, like I don't believe in vengeance or anything like that... even from a cold-hearted logical perspective (I don't see the point of hurting myself in order to hurt someone else, I'd rather just avoid further pain in the first place). So I'm actually a lot more selfish, perhaps, than the test implies. :-D

Most of my answers that might have been interpreted by the test as "light" were not necessarily coming from the most warm-hearted place... but just sheer logic and contemplation I did in the past about how to achieve the most desirable outcomes in life.

I might! But one of the things that really helped for me was studying Stoic philosophy as well as marrying a Buddhist. Inner peace and all that. And I've had a number of extra years to fuck lots of things up and learn from mistakes.

When I was younger, especially as a teenager, I used to have such violent anger issues -- punching walls and all that. And I messed lots of things up with that, especially relationships with girlfriends where I lacked the maturity to handle a conflict without storming out and getting pissed off. And studying Stoicism helped with that to the point where I just started catching myself every time I thought negatively and challenged and reframed my negative thoughts. The more I did that the more I no longer found reasons to be angry or upset, and also lost, as far as I can tell, the ability to hate or wish anything bad for anyone (there might be some limit where that breaks if they hurt my family or something, but I haven't hated anyone since early youth, even those who did me wrong).

I would have thought I was a bit more narcissistic or self-interested at least, since I do enjoy talking about myself a lot. :-D

That said, I have not grown into some super warm-hearted loving type. I don't see videos of ISIS beheading people and want to send them flowers and wish them well. Just because I've lost the ability to hate does not mean I suddenly love everyone. I am in perfectly in favor of killing such people, and have a ruthless side to me... but that ruthless side is not driven by hate, but it's more of a logical standpoint that if we don't stop such people (and possibly through the most ruthless means), then they could start to endanger the very people we care about. So I am still capable of very cold-hearted and ruthless thoughts and acts, but whatever ruthlessness I have is not coming from anger and hatred... but merely logic absent love and compassion.

There's a difference between "wanting" and "deserving", almost every person wants more in one's life, but do they think they deserve it? That's another question.

This is mine. I don’t think self interest is bad as long as it isn’t by means hurting others. Desiring comfort is natural and drives progress it is the survival instinct.

I guess I'm not too surprised with my results. Didn't think I was that much of an egomaniac though. I did know about my sadism though, since I find it quite funny when my friends get mad at the games I make, but still just a bit above, since I don't like seeing people in physical / deep emotional pain.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. I may be selfish and arrogant, but I'm not violent or malevolent. I don't think I deserve the "9.11% darker than average" assessment though, because traits like self-interest aren't as bad as traits like sadism. They should be weighted.

Those are not exclusive. Often they go hand in hand.
Plus I wouldn't really trust your own judgement of your intelligence. The test shows you are narcissistic - meaning you tend to overvalue yourself.

Anyway, I meant no harm. You actually interest me. I mean, so many mental issues in one place - you must be an interesting person.

It's just an online test, it doesn't define who I am. I'm not narcissistic, I'm confident and yes I care about myself unlike most people who become mentally the slaves of others. I calculate 24/7 and I get what I want, doesn't make me a psychopath. My EQ is high (I could read others easily) and I'm cynical, doesn't make me a machiavellian.

I don't have mental issues. I'm mentally healthy. I'm just more developed mentally. Life isn't a fairytale.
