There are. American manufacturing companies decided that batteries in the size A and size B batteries weren't really used much and fell out of the standardized size tally.

Here's the silly part, the American size A and B batteries were with Vacuum tubes and used in radios.

Europe's B batteries are European 4.5 volt lantern battery.

B batteries are still sometimes used in Europe for lanterns and bicycle lamps.

Now, knowing the nature of your other questions, there are no 'B' batteries because people with a stutter would never be able to get them.

B batteries where used with vaccum tubes and were between 80 to 92 volts and since we dont use vaccum tubes anymore we dont need them

There are, but they were not a size that was adopted by many manufacturers, so they don't show up on store shelves. Old cordless phones sometimes had three rechargable ones in an array.

There were B batteries a very long time ago but they're obsolete now. In fact, there used to be an A battery before the AA & AAA.
