Since I am studying one of them I will obviously chose that specific one.

It is irrelevant which one is better as they are all, more or less, as useful as the others.

Take computer science. If you did not have it, you would be thrown a long way back in time in most all the other scientific fields such as medicine, engineering and at least another 20 more and if medicine was not at the level it is now, you possibly would not have the progress in other sciences.

It is just like a domino effect. Remove one stone and the entire effect collapses.

The entire modern world relies on science that you cannot say that one is better than the other. Remove one and you impact on all others.
